The Contract.

The morning sun filtered through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Sen Manor, painting golden streaks across the marble floor.

Unlike most luxurious mansions that echoed with silence...

The Sen Manor echoed with laughter.

"Akshuuu!"

A loud voice rang across the dining hall.

"Tell your daughter to stop stealing my strawberries!" Kashvi complained dramatically, pointing an accusing finger at Akshara.

Akshara looked up from her breakfast, completely unfazed.

"I bought them."

"You still stole them."

"I bought them."

"You stole my happiness."

Akshara sighed before sliding the bowl towards her younger sister.

"There."

Kashvi immediately hugged the bowl.

"My sister loves me."

"No."

"You threatened my peace."

Their father lowered his newspaper, watching the two girls with an amused smile.

"Can both of you behave like adults for five minutes?"

"No," both sisters answered in perfect sync.

Their mother laughed.

"agree on something useful at least as per your age."

The dining hall burst into laughter.

For a moment...

Everything felt normal.

Peaceful.

Safe.

Exactly how Akshara liked it.

Her hearing device rested securely behind her ear.

She looked towards her father.

"What are today's meetings?"

He pushed a blue file towards her.

"Three internal reviews."

"One warehouse inspection."

"And..."

He paused.

"...the government fire compliance renewal."

Akshara nodded while opening her tablet.

"I'll handle the inspection personally."

Her father smiled proudly.

"I knew you'd say that."

Owning Sen Fire & Safety Solutions had never been part of Akshara's dream.

But protecting what her father had built...

That became her purpose.

She wasn't trying to prove she was capable.

She already knew she was.

She simply wanted the world to stop questioning it.

Sen Fire & Safety Solutions

The company headquarters stood tall in the heart of Aarvanpur.

Glass walls.

Steel structure.

Simple.

Elegant.

Safe.

Exactly what a fire and safety company should represent.

The moment Akshara entered...

Every employee greeted her.

"Good morning, Ma'am."

She smiled politely.

"Good morning."

No arrogance.

No unnecessary attitude.

Just respect...

Given and returned.

Her assistant hurried towards her.

"Ma'am, the client from Mumbai has arrived."

"Conference Room Two."

"And the warehouse report?"

"Already on your table."

"Good."

She walked into her cabin.

The room wasn't decorated with expensive paintings.

Instead...

The walls displayed emergency evacuation layouts, fire safety certifications, and photographs of employees receiving awards.

A soft knock interrupted her thoughts.

"Come in."

Three engineers entered.

"Ma'am, we've completed the safety audit."

She read every page carefully.

One engineer nervously asked,

"Should we overlook the minor violations? The client is influential."

Akshara slowly closed the file.

"If a building catches fire..."

"...it doesn't care whether the owner is influential."

The room fell silent.

She pushed the file back.

"Redo the report."

"Write exactly what you found."

"No more."

"No less."

The engineers exchanged respectful glances.

"Yes, Ma'am."

As they left...

One whispered,

"No wonder Sir trusts her more than anyone."

An hour later...

The marketing manager rushed inside without knocking.

"Ma'am!"

Akshara looked up.

"What happened?"

He placed a thick document on her desk.

"Raizada Industries."

Her eyebrows lifted slightly.

"They've announced a tender."

"For what?"

"The Raizada Global Business Tower."

Silence.

Even her father, who had just entered the cabin, stopped walking.

The manager continued,

"It'll be the tallest commercial tower in Shreegrah."

"They're inviting only companies with exceptional safety records."

Her father picked up the document.

"This project..."

"...is enormous."

Akshara calmly began reading every page.

Fire safety.

Industrial compliance.

Emergency evacuation systems.

Disaster management.

Structural safety integration.

A faint smile appeared on her lips.

"This isn't impossible."

Her father looked at her.

"You want to apply?"

She closed the file.

"No."

The room became awkward.

"I don't want to apply."

"I want to win."

Silence.

Then...

Her father smiled proudly.

"That's my daughter."

"We start preparing today."

Akshara nodded.

"Call the engineering team."

"I want every report checked twice."

"If we're presenting to Raizada Industries..."

"...they won't find a single flaw."

Outside the glass cabin...

Employees had already begun whispering.

"The Beast of Shreegrah..."

"He's impossible to impress."

Another employee smiled.

"So is our boss."

Meanwhile...

Two hours away.

Shreegrah.

Luxury cars lined the streets.

Corporate towers pierced the skyline.

Every major business eventually answered to one name.

Raizada Industries.

Inside the top floor...

Anup entered Devansh's office carrying nearly twenty proposal files.

He placed them neatly on the table.

"Applications for the Global Business Tower."

Devansh didn't immediately respond.

He signed the last document before finally looking up.

"How many?"

"Twenty."

"Too many."

Anup laughed.

"You haven't even seen them."

"I don't need twenty companies."

"I need one capable company."

He opened the first file.

Five minutes later...

Rejected.

Second.

Rejected.

Third,

Rejected.

One after another...

The files moved into the rejection pile.

Anup watched quietly.

Exactly as expected.

Forty minutes later...

Only one file remained.

Devansh leaned back.

"The last one?"

Anup glanced at the cover.

A faint smile appeared.

"You haven't rejected this company before."

Devansh raised an eyebrow.

"The name?"

Anup turned the file around.

SEN FIRE & SAFETY SOLUTIONS

Devansh opened it himself.

The first page showed years of successful industrial projects.

Zero major fire violations.

Excellent safety compliance.

Government recognition.

Employee welfare certifications.

His eyes stopped at one particular page.

CEO- Akshara Sen

He studied the profile for a few silent seconds.

"No unnecessary advertisements."

"No exaggerated claims."

"Hm."

He closed the file.

"Arrange a presentation."

Anup blinked.

"Only them?"

Devansh stood.

"If a company lets its work speak..."

"...I'd rather hear that than empty promises."

He picked up his coat.

"The meeting."

"Tomorrow."

Anup smiled to himself.

"Interesting..."

"Let's see who this Akshara Sen really is."

Far away in Aarvanpur...

Akshara was already preparing.

Neither of them knew...

That was a single business meeting...
